I have been in the field of internal auditing for over 8 yrs. I started out in Finance and Accounting then gravitated more towards Internal Auditing later in my career. One would think that it is a little bit late to pursue a Global certification. Last year, I decided to explore new heights and one of the goals is to obtain the CIA certification. So on November 22 of last year, I enrolled in REO's CIA online review program and it was definitely a challenge to juggle the review and my job as an audit manager. But REO's online self-paced and zero-based approach supported me in my need for review schedule flexibility and foundational concepts that became the bedrock in building proficiency in more complicated topics. Their knowledge tests and mock examinations proved to be very useful in assessing my readiness to take the CIA exams. Over 2 months of intensive review, the excellent review materials and competent line-up of reviewers inevitably made me feel confident about my chances of passing the exams. Believing that I am ready, with a mind filled with guided knowledge and a heart full of hopes and prayers, I took all the exams on the first week of February 2025. Fortunately, I passed all the exams on the first try. It was one of the most fulfilling moments of my life and REO is of huge importance towards achieving it.
